Monthly Hero Service- Air Dancer TF The lights of Hero HQ buzzed overhead as Elasticia slumped in the uncomfortable plastic chair. Dr. Synapse stood behind his desk, his neural implants flickering with irritation as he flipped through a tablet displaying her service record. "On the last three bridge repairs you bailed on early... Two pipe inspections you half completed and last month you just... vanished?" His voice carried that disappointed, bossy tone she absolutely hated. Elasticia's pink form shifted in the chair, her rubbery ass squeaking against the plastic. "Look, those jobs were boring. I'm meant for fighting crime, not playing infrastructure support!" "Every hero does monthly service. Sparkle does fireworks at city celebrations. I assist search and rescue operations." He set down the tablet with a deliberate click. "Cind... Elasticia your properties make you uniquely suited for certain municipal tasks." "Uniquely suited for boring tasks," she muttered. Dr. Synapse paused, his expression softening slightly. "To be honest, your service assignments haven't been that demanding. But this next one..." He hesitated. "I could pull some strings. Get you reassigned." Elasticia's pink eyes widened. She had never heard him offer that before. Something about the start of the new year made her want to turn things around. Maybe doing these properly would help her reputation to look more reputable. Show the team she was reliable. "No," she said firmly. "I'll take whatever it is." This should be interesting, Dr. Synapse thought, his eyebrow raising. "Are you certain? You haven't even read the assignment details..." The truth was she hadn't read anything. During the briefing, she had been secretly stretching her fingers under the table, enjoying the pleasant tingle of extending them beyond normal limits. A bad habit she couldn't seem to break while being in very boring situations. "I'm sure. New year, new Elasticia." She launched herself out the window before he could respond, her pink body stretching between buildings like a living slingshot. The city sprawled beneath her as she bounced from rooftop to rooftop, each impact sending delicious vibrations through her malleable form. Mid swing, she pulled her phone from between her breasts. The device sat nestled inside her cleavage, warm from her body heat. She typed in the assignment address. After 300 meters, turn right, the GPS announced. The next swing sent her spinning like a helicopter. The phone's navigation went haywire, the little arrow spinning in confused circles. Made sense, really. The app expected someone walking on ground level, not a pink rubber woman catapulting through the air. She landed hard on a concrete parking lot, her feet splattering slightly before reforming. Looking up, she saw rows of gleaming vehicles behind a chain link fence. Bright banners proclaimed 'APEX CITY AUTO SALES' and 'LOWEST PRICES GUARANTEED.' "Fucking car dealership," she groaned. "These bastards always overcharge..." A middle-aged man in a cheap suit hurried out of the dealership's building. "Oh, wonderful, you actually came! My daughter is such a huge fan!" He pulled out his phone eagerly. "Could I possibly get a photo? She would be thrilled!" Elasticia forced a smile, posing with her hands on her hips while he snapped several pictures. "So what's the service you requested? Catching customers who skip payments? Demonstrating car safety features?" The man waved his hands dismissively. "No, no, nothing like that." He pointed toward the front of the lot where a tall black metal stand stood empty, a blower unit attached at its base. "We just need an air dancer. The old one ripped last week and replacements will arrive tomorrow, so I just typed it in the city app and it got approved." Elasticia's stomach dropped. Now she understood why Dr. Synapse had offered to get her out of this. An air dancer. One of those stupid flailing tube men that waved around outside businesses. They wanted her to become one of those ridiculous advertising gimmicks. 'I could still bail,' she thought. 'Just stretch away and deal with the consequences later... NO!!!' She had promised herself. New year, new approach. "Fine," she said through gritted teeth. "Let me try." She climbed onto the stand, positioning her feet over the blower opening. The machine hummed to life, pushing air upward. She began reshaping herself, elongating her body into a tall cylindrical tube. Her arms flattened into simple flaps. Her legs merged together into a single column. The sensation felt immediately wrong. Her insides pushed together in strange ways as the air current hit her. Her pink material bunched and folded rather than inflating properly. The pressure made her head swim. "This isn't working," she called down, reforming to normal. "The air pressure messes with my body!" 'I need something to keep my shape stable, she realized.' "Wait here," she told the confused salesman before stretching away. Twenty minutes later she re
